RSPB Team Member (Social Media Volunteer, Pagham Harbour & Medmerry)
Want to use your social media savvy to make a difference to wildlife from your own home? Could you help bring Pagham Harbour and Medmerry into the social media spotlight? Social media is widely used by the public to plan trips out and keep up to date with news, events, and activities. We want to use social media to promote our work and events on our Pagham Harbour and Medmerry reserves.
Increasingly, people use social media as a way of asking questions before their visit, so you’ll also be helping people plan their brilliant day out. Our social media pages are a key marketing tool and support our work with visitors on the reserve. We want social media volunteers to help keep our online activity up to date and looking great!
The main part of this role is about maintaining our online activity and responding to enquiries. You’ll develop, plan and publish posts following the social media calendar, post pictures, suggest ideas and undertake other marketing activities.
You will get to learn about the wider work of the RSPB on a national and regional level, as well as building new relationships with local wildlife interest groups.
