Local Group Volunteer Helper (Sutton Coldfield)
Our RSPB Local Groups are run by community volunteers who are passionate about nature. Local Group volunteers work together to run a range of activities, like local walks and wildlife talks, to help more people connect with nature where they live. We’re looking for someone to join our RSPB Sutton Coldfield Local Group, who are seeking new volunteers to join their committee!
What will you be doing
- Joining a committee of enthusiastic volunteers at our RSPB Sutton Coldfield Local Group
- Helping organise local events and meetings
- Offering your support to keep group activities engaging for local people with a passion for nature and wildlife
The skills you'll need
- A love for local wildlife and natural spaces
- Computer and internet literate
- Good organisation skills and attention to detail
- Enthusiasm about helping the RSPB do more to help save nature in your area.

Other bits of info
You would be able to claim out-of-pocket expenses from the group charity bank account. You would have full support from a dedicated and experienced committee of volunteers, as well as support from RSPB staff in the Country and the Volunteering Development Department at HQ.
