Sefydlwyd Grŵp Wildlife Explorers/Phoenix RSPB Cwm Clydach yn 2011, ac ers hynny rydyn ni wedi cynnig cyfleoedd i bobl ifanc leol gwrdd ag eraill sy'n rhannu eu diddordeb mewn adar a bywyd gwyllt. Mae’r pwyslais ar ffyrdd hwyliog o ddysgu am natur.

Mae’r gweithgareddau’n cynnwys adeiladu blychau nythu, celf a chrefft, gemau a sgyrsiau gan naturiaethwyr sy’n ymweld. Mae’r gweithgareddau awyr agored yn cynnwys chwilota mewn pyllau, gwaith cadwraeth, arolygon planhigion ac anifeiliaid yn ogystal â gwylio adar, teithiau natur (mae croeso i deuluoedd) a llawer o bynciau bywyd gwyllt a natur eraill.

Fel Arweinydd Iau yn y Grŵp Ieuenctid, byddwch yn gweithio ochr yn ochr â’r arweinwyr sy’n oedolion i gynllunio, trefnu a chyflwyno ein rhaglen weithgareddau. Mae arweinwyr iau fel arfer yn treulio 3-4 awr y mis yn mynychu cyfarfodydd ac yn paratoi syniadau yn dibynnu ar ba weithgareddau sydd ar y gweill.

Darperir sesiwn gynefino a hyfforddiant perthnasol, a byddwn yn gallu cynnig cefnogaeth barhaus i chi er mwyn datblygu ymhellach y sgiliau sydd eu hangen arnoch ar gyfer y rôl hon.

Rydyn ni’n croesawu ceisiadau gan siaradwyr Cymraeg a phobl o gefndiroedd ethnig gwahanol.

RSPB Cwm Clydach Wildlife Explorers & Phoenix Group was initiated in 2011, and since then, we have offered local young people the opportunity to meet others who share their fascination about birds and wildlife. The emphasis is on fun ways to learn about nature.

Activities include nest box building, arts and crafts, games and talks from visiting naturalists. Outdoor activities include pond dipping, conservation work, flora and fauna surveys as well as bird watching, nature walks and many other wildlife and nature topics.

As a Youth Group Junior Leader, you will work alongside the adult leaders to design, plan and deliver our activity programme. Junior leaders usually spend 3-4 hours a month attending meetings and preparing ideas depending on what activities are planned.

An induction and relevant training will be provided, and we will be able to offer you ongoing support to further develop the skills you need for this role.
