Specialist/Expert Volunteer (Twitch Producer)

We are looking for volunteers with specialist producer skills to join some our Twitch team and help grow our capacity and smooth running of our Twitch channel. By opening up our work to more volunteers in this way, it means we can scale up what we can achieve and do more for nature.

This work will include:

• Supporting presenters with their streaming schedule and content
• Hosting live streams on Twitch through Discord and OBS
• Sharing video and photo content matching to presenter conversation
• Troubleshooting any technical difficulties during live streams

Training and support will be provided but we are looking for people with the following skills and experience:

• Motivated to use your skills and expertise to Save Nature
• IT skills, use of WhatsApp, Microsoft OneDrive
• Prior experience of using Discord, OBS and Twitch
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with different audiences, internal and external to the RSPB.
• Organisational skills.

This role provides an excellent opportunity to donate your time and skills to have real impact on our work. Be able to commit 2 hours on the evening of your live stream as well as keeping up to date with stream related information throughout the week (approximately 4 hours a week in total). You will learn all about how the RSPB works and gain experience working for an environmental charity.
