Rydyn ni’n chwilio am wirfoddolwyr brwdfrydig i ymuno â’n tîm Addysg, Teuluoedd a Phobl Ifanc i ddarparu ymyriadau sy’n seiliedig ar natur gydag ysgolion cynradd ac oedolion yn y gymuned. Nod y rôl hon yw ysbrydoli ac ennyn diddordeb pobl eraill i weithredu i achub natur. Mae gennym sawl cyfle ar gael yng Ngwynedd, Ynys Môn, Sir Benfro a Caerdydd.
Mae byd natur mewn argyfwng, ond gallwn ei achub gyda’n gilydd! Yn yr RSPB, rydyn ni’n gwario 90% o’n hincwm net ar gadwraeth, addysg gyhoeddus ac eiriolaeth. Mae gwirfoddolwyr yn rhan annatod o’r ffordd rydyn ni’n cyflawni hyn, yn arbennig drwy gyfleoedd fel yr uchod. Mae’r rôl yn cael ei chefnogi’n llawn gan y tîm, a gall fod yn hyblyg i gyd-fynd â’ch ymrwymiadau eraill.
Ymunwch â ni a dod yn rhan o Dîm Addysg, Teuluoedd a Phobl Ifanc RSPB Cymru, a’n helpu ni i weithredu i achub byd natur, gyda’n gilydd. Mae hwn hefyd yn gyfle cyffrous i gael profiad gwaith ymarferol ac ymgysylltu â’ch cymunedau lleol.
Bydd aelod o’r tîm yn eich cefnogi’n llawn yn eich rôl. Darperir sesiwn gynefino a hyfforddiant perthnasol. Rydyn ni’n cynnig cefnogaeth barhaus i chi er mwyn datblygu ymhellach y sgiliau sydd eu hangen arnoch ar gyfer y rôl hon, a chynnig cyfle i chi barhau â’ch nodau a’ch dyheadau personol eich hun.
Byddwch chi’n:
- Defnyddio adnoddau sydd eisoes yn bodoli i ddarparu ymyriadau sy’n seiliedig ar natur i ysgolion cynradd
- Cyfrifol am drefnu a chynnal sesiynau grŵp gydag oedolion yn y gymuned sy’n darparu gweithgareddau sy’n seiliedig ar natur, gyda’r nod o wella llesiant unwaith y mis h.y. ffoaduriaid, grwpiau addysg yn y cartref ac ati.
- Ymgymryd â hyfforddiant perthnasol sy’n gysylltiedig â’r rôl; diogelu, cymorth cyntaf, GDPR.
- Gweithio gyda’r Tîm Addysg, Teuluoedd a Phobl Ifanc i ddylunio a datblygu cynlluniau newydd.
- Casglu data a’i roi ar ein systemau mewnol ac electronig, a TED. Cysylltu ag aelodau o’r cyhoedd, y tîm Addysg, Teuluoedd a Phobl Ifanc a sefydliadau partner i gasglu a rhannu gwybodaeth ac arferion gorau, ar lafar ac yn electronig.
Mae’r sgiliau canlynol yn ddymunol:
- Gallu cymell eich hun a dangos blaengaredd
- Sgiliau trefnu da
- Sgiliau cyfathrebu ardderchog, ar lafar ac ar bapur

We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our Education, Families and Youth team to deliver nature-based interventions with primary schools and adults in the community. The aim of this role is to inspire and engage others to take action to save nature. We have several opportunities in Gwynedd, Anglesey, Pembrokeshire and Cardiff.
Nature is in crisis and together we can save it! At the RSPB we spend 90% of our net income on conservation, public education and advocacy. Volunteers are an integral part of how we achieve this, through opportunities such as this. The role is fully supported by the team and can be flexible to suit your other commitments Join us and become part of RSPB’s Wales Education, Families and Youth Team and help us take action to save nature, together. This is also an exciting way to gain practical, hands-on work experience and also engage with your local communities.
You will be fully supported in your role by a member of the team. An induction will be provided as well as relevant training. We offer ongoing support to enable you to further develop the skills you need for this role and to progress with your own personal goals and aspirations.
You will:
- Use pre-existing resources to deliver nature-based interventions to primary schools
- Take responsibility for organising and running group sessions with adults in the community delivering nature-based activities aimed at improving wellbeing once per month i.e. refugees, home education groups etc.
- Undertake relevant training associated with the role; safeguarding, first aid, GDPR.
- Work with the Education, Families and Youth Team to design and develop new initiatives.
- Gathering data and inputting it on our internal, electronic systems and TED.
- Liaising with members of the public, EFY team and partner organisations to gather and share information and best practice, both verbally and electronically.
The following skills are desirable:
- Self-motivated and able to show initiative
- Good organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- IT skills, creating documents, managing spreadsheets especially Microsoft Office applications.
- Delivering to groups
- Working with children and adults
Desirable but not essential
- The ability to speak Welsh
Don’t worry if you don’t have all the desirable skills at the moment, we are here to help to support you to build your skills and experience as part of your ongoing development in this role.
