Café Volunteer
Why we want you
With over 100,000 visitors a year, Leighton Moss is a very busy site and our award-winning Cafe is very popular. We aim to deliver first class customer care at all times, as well as inspiring people to take action for nature. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to help in the cafe and would love you to come and join our friendly team for a minimum of half a day per week.
Types of jobs that our cafe volunteers do -
- Counter - taking orders, serving drinks and cakes, using till
- Store - organising storeroom and helping to sort deliveries
- Café Floor - clearing tables, washing up and putting away dishes and taking food out to customers, filling up cutlery, condiments and fridge, writing menu boards.
- Food preparation - help with cold food preparation - sandwiches and salads and/or scones and toasted items

The skills you need
• A smiley, friendly personality • Previous experience in a catering environment (not essential) • The ability to deliver outstanding customer care • Works effectively within a team in a fast-paced environment
Notes
Appropriate training and equipment will be provided and expenses will be reimbursed where necessary.
