Do you like a good story?

The RSPB saves nature in so many ways and has many fabulous projects across England from saving the places that nature lives that are under threat, protecting special birds and animals that need our help, working with farmers and other landowners to help nature, or simply wowing people with amazing wildlife spectacles – all to ensure that the next generation has an opportunity to experience nature where they live.

In an effort to reach more people, we’re looking for a volunteer to create inspiring PowerPoint presentations based on our great stories. We have a network of volunteers giving presentations to their community but we’d like to provide them with some important and up to date RSPB content.

If you have a working understanding of PowerPoint, and are happy to undertake a bit of research every now and then (reading relevant RSPB blogs, e-newsletters, magazines etc), summarise and turn into a few slides, then we’d love to hear from you.

We can point the successful candidate to the right places and people to source the stories, supply branded slide templates and house style guidance. We also have a substantial images library to source supporting photos.

This is a role you can do from home and fit round your other commitments. It’s a great way to gain an inside view of what the RSPB is doing, and to connect with people who care about nature.

Thank you for reading this role description. Clicking on ‘more about this role’ and the downloadable pdf will give you just the generic role profile for this opportunity. A role profile is the family to which an opportunity belongs and informs vetting and training requirements and may not be an exact fit to the role described above.
