Administrator (Devon Reserves Admin Assistant)
Why We Want You: Are you keen to play your part in helping conserve nature, would like to utilize your existing office-based skills, and have up to 1 day a week to spare? We are looking for volunteers who can support teams and take on administrator tasks as part of an existing team that supports the RSPB operation.
What You Will Be Doing: As a valued volunteer, you will be involved in a variety of tasks, tailored to your skills and interests:

Logging and Updating Asset Register: Your initial project will be crucial in managing our equipment effectively. This involves logging and updating our asset register to ensure the proper management of equipment.

Using SharePoint and Uploading Photos: You'll be using SharePoint to organize information and uploading photos of our stored equipment, contributing to efficient record-keeping.

Additional Mini-Projects: Following the completion of the initial task, there will be opportunities to work on other mini-projects, allowing you to expand your skills and contribute to various aspects of our operations.

Flexible Hours: The role offers flexibility, requiring 2-3 days a month, which can be split into a half day every week or one full day every other week. We do require these to be during office hours so that the staff team can support you.
Skills You Need:
- Organized and Computer Literate: We are looking for someone with excellent organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Good Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail is crucial, ensuring accuracy in logging and updating our asset register.
- Driving Ability: Ability to drive is key as the role is based at one of our reserve offices (Aylesbeare Common (nr Exmouth/Woodbury) and Exminster.)
