Local Group Indoor Meetings Organiser (Events organiser Bolton)

The RSPB is the largest conservation organisation in the UK. Our local groups are our voice in the community. Our friendly Bolton local group helps to engage the local community with nature and involve them in the work of the RSPB.

We have a full programme of indoor meetings, featuring illustrated talks on nature and wildlife, and field trips to see birds and enjoy the outdoors.

We are looking for someone to help organise our programme of talks on wildlife and conservation, finding new speakers and interesting new topics for our members to learn about.

We need someone who will book speakers and keep in touch with them about what they need, liaise with the group committee regarding dates and potential speakers, arrange things with the venue and talk to the group committee about plans and format of meetings.

It's a great chance to become involved in our work, to meet new people and to learn more about wildlife - especially if you can find some great speakers!

The group is friendly and supportive and training will be provided.
