Local Group Outdoor Meetings Organiser (Bolton)

The RSPB is the largest conservation organisation in the UK. Our local groups are our voice in the community. Our friendly Bolton local group helps to engage the local community with nature and involve them in the work of the RSPB.

We have a full programme of indoor meetings, featuring illustrated talks on nature and wildlife, and field trips to see birds and enjoy the outdoors.

We are looking for someone to help organise our programme of field trips and wildlife walks.

We need someone who will arrange trips to RSPB reserves and other wildlife sites, liaise with the group committee regarding dates and venues, and come up with ideas that will involve our current members and attract new people to engaging with nature.

It's a great chance to become involved in our work, to meet new people and to learn more about wildlife.

The group is friendly and supportive and training will be provided.
