Event Helper (Bioblitz Event Helper (Ballee))
From late April until July we will be carrying out Bioblitzes around County Antrim. The first Bioblitz will be in late May/early June.
A Bioblitz is a community led and orientated survey for local species of plant, bird and invertebrate. They are laid back surveys open to all ages and abilities.
During a Bioblitz you will capture, record and release interesting species to improve local records and help community groups to engage with the nature in their areas.
If you have an interest in identifying invertebrate and plant species or want to develop or improve your id skills then this is the perfect opportunity to do so.
A training day will be carried out prior to the event to run through id skills and answer any outstanding questions.
On the day of the Bioblitz I will be on site to assist with any further id problems and questions.
