Are you keen to play your part in helping the RSPB conserve nature through its people? Would you like to utilise your office skills and join the Learning and Organisational Development team for two days a week?

We are looking for volunteers who can support our people in achieving their learning goals and take on an administrator role as part of an existing friendly team that supports the RSPB operation.

By opening our work to more volunteers in this way, it means we can enable our people to be skilled to scale up what we can achieve and do more for nature.

The RSPB is the UK’s largest conservation charity! Join our fantastic volunteers who are helping to inspire everyone to give nature a home and secure a healthy environment for wildlife. We will help you gain skills and give you invaluable insight into our essential work.

What you will be doing:

  • Monitoring and responding to emails that come into the team inbox; both internal and external.
  • Support the team in organising self-led learning, virtual and in-person workshop events.
  • Updating records in our learning management systems.
  • Data collation and reporting to measure Learning and Organisational Development impact and engagement.
  • Supporting the wider Learning and Organisational Development team by taking on tasks that contribute to our work.
  • Plenty of scope to learn new skills and develop yourself going forward if you would like to.
