Event Helper (Family Pond Dipping, Loch Leven)

Would you like to help out with running pond dipping sessions for families at RSPB Loch Leven?

We're looking for volunteers who can lead our pond dipping sessions for families during the Easter, Summer and October Holidays.

This role will involve:

• Leading pond dipping guided sessions
• Providing an introductory talk on how to pond dip safely
• Helping families to identify what they have caught
• Helping set up and clean equipment

What we are looking for:

• Ideally someone with experience helping or running family events or events for children
• Someone who is a confident communicator
• An interest in natural history (knowledge of pond life isn't required, as this will be taught)
• Someone who is available to help with a minimum of 5 sessions over the year, these will take place during the Easter (5th- 20th April), Summer (27th June- 18th August) and October (10th- 26th October) holidays.
