Practical Reserve Work (Quality Control and Maintenance)
Do you love to be out and about? Can you turn your hand to anything and get stuck in? We're looking for some "Quality Control and Maintenance Volunteers" to keep our reserve looking fabulous and do odd jobs as and when they need doing.
This is a “jack or jill-of-all trades” role for a friendly person with a can-do attitude, who can take the initiative and help us to maintain the highest quality of visitor experience. You'll be out and about on the reserve in this varied practical role.
Each day in this role will be different and varied depending on what is happening on the day, but tasks might include checks on paths, hides and trails, care of our Wild Play areas, filling/ cleaning bird feeders, updating noticeboards etc.....
You'd be part of a team of Quality Control and Maintenance volunteers in different days of the week. We are especially looking for people to volunteer on a Friday or at weekends.
The RSPB is committed to making our organisation diverse and inclusive, and, as such, are keen to encourage applications from everyone, of all ethnic backgrounds, as well as those with disabilities.
We look forward to hearing from you!
