Administrator (Wader Survey Administrator Lancaster)
Are you keen to help save nature, would like to utilise your existing office-based skills and have up to 1 day a week to spare?
We are looking for an administrative volunteer to support the Bowland Breeding Wader Survey and take on administrative tasks to support this important survey work. Tasks include data management, GIS mapping, volunteer coordination and other general admin. By opening up our work to more volunteers in this way, it means we can scale up what we can achieve and do more for nature.
You will be a good all round 'people person', have a keen attention to detail and great organisational skills as well as a confident user of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel. Training will be provided on any specialist skills, including GIS mapping and using RSPB systems.
This is a great opportunity to utilise your existing skills and learn new ones, whilst working as part of a small, friendly team. There is room for development within the role, and opportunities to volunteer for other field-based roles.
This opportunity is based in the RSPB Lancaster office. The time commitment is 2-4 days per month, with lots of flexibility.
