Volunteer Coordinator (Strumpshaw Fen)

Do you enjoy supporting people and would you like to make a positive impact for nature? We are looking for organised people with excellent communication skills to join our team as a Volunteer Coordinator and to help support our sites and operations.

We are looking for a Volunteer Coordinator to help support us in a range of tasks, including:

• Being the first point of contact for our existing volunteers and answering general queries.
• Helping us bring together and celebrate our volunteer team through coordinating twice yearly volunteer thank you events (e.g. BBQ and Christmas party).
• Supporting us in finding better ways to communicate with our volunteers and help manage these e.g. online updates, news letters.
• Administrative tasks such as recording volunteer hours, registering new volunteers on our database, creating ID badges, organising rotas and processing expenses claims.
• Supporting the team with volunteer administration around recruitment as necessary.

We'll ensure you're provided with an RSPB mobile phone and are set up with access to the RSPB computer network so you can comfortably carry out your role at home.

You'll be trained in everything you need to know beforehand and we'll support you in your role every step of the way.
