At the RSPB we are passionate about young people and about nature. Our youth groups have the potential to play a really important role in local communities, offering young people regular opportunities to get to know the wild places close to them and to be supported by enthusiastic adult volunteers.

Our Liverpool Wildlife Explorers are looking for a Treasurer to support them with managing their money.

What will you be doing?

Collecting and banking income from group monthly activities

Monitoring group finances regularly, ensuring that all income and expenditure for the group is recorded.

Completing a financial return at the end of the financial year

The skills you need

Comfortable keeping simple accounts

Comfortable handling and accounting for charity money

Well organised and conscientious

Effective communication skills, to liaise with other volunteers in the group

Computer literate with internet and email access

Passionate about wildlife and nature
