Café Volunteer
Imagine a day out without a coffee and cake, or a refreshing cup of tea! Our café volunteers understand the importance of a little break and help visitors to relax and refuel during their visit to Frampton. We have different roles available, so you’re bound to find something to suit.
Barista - You’ll be making coffees and hot chocolates to order on our Barista machine. This role is great for someone who loves the smell of freshly ground coffee and a bit of theatre! And it’s also a great way to get training and experience that can help you in a career in hospitality.
Server - You’ll be warmly welcoming people, taking orders, making teas and coffees and serving counter items like scones and cake, all with a smile. This role will particularly suit you if you are someone that likes being around people. You’ll meet a lot of them in this role!
Pot washer & tidy upperer - You’ll be mainly back of house but a vital cog in the smooth running of the café. Pot washing is a priority to ensure there’s no build up as well as ensuring equipment and stock is readily available to the servers. As a break from the sink, you’ll also be keeping an eye on the tables, ensuring that they are cleared and clean!

Food Hygiene Level 2 and Allergen Awareness training is mandatory for all working in the café. You’ll be provided with the necessary induction, training, and equipment do this role well and safely, and we can cover the travel costs between home and your place of volunteering.
You can choose which shifts to do to fit round your other commitments.
