Nature Can't Wait

We know that we are facing a climate and biodiversity crisis but we strongly believe that we can make a difference. We are looking for passionate campaigners to join our team.

The RSPB began as a campaigning organisation and have secured positive change on a whole host of issues. Now more than ever we need the support of as many people and communities as possible, who are willing to lobby their local, country and national governments, write letters, share our campaign asks on social media platforms and take part in campaign actions. We have lots of science expertise and conservation knowledge and need your help to communicate this to people in & around Bristol, including decision makers, who are non-experts.

This might be your first step into campaigning, or you might already be a social media influencer, or part of a local community, university or school campaigning group, we need you! The role has flexible asks on your time depending on the campaign and the urgency, no two weeks are the same, but we will work together to agree work and time commitment.

Specific skills required will be dependent on the campaign, but are likely to include, researching and writing, social media communication and an ability to influence other opinions.

You will have the opportunity to develop new and existing skills needed to be an effective campaigner. We provide the toolkit. And you will have the chance to make a difference to the world we live in for today and for future generations.
