One-Off Practical Volunteer (Abernethy tree planting)

Join us for a day of planting trees on RSPB Abernethy. Help us return missing broadleaf trees to areas of plantation woodland, to increase biodiversity and restore a more natural forest.

We are running sessions on Wednesday 12th and Saturday 29th November, meeting at Loch Garten Nature Centre car park at 10:00 am. We will aim to finish by 16:00.

Wear sturdy shoes and be prepared for any weather with waterproofs and plenty of warm layers. Bring lunch and something to drink. Planting gloves will be provided.
